Here's a layout I created for the online class last weekend at Scrap Shotz. My challenge was a sketch challenge that I created in Paint Shop Pro XI.

January CT Layouts

It's been forever since I've updated...and it's almost time for Feb CT layouts so I thought I'd better get on here and add January's! :) This month we used Crate Paper and wow, it's gorgeous! So sophisticated, perfect for Christmas photos!

This months Creative Team kits were the new Basic Grey papers - Dasher and Fruitcake. I chose Dasher because it co-ordinates with last years Blitzen and I have tonnes of it for Christmas cards...yes, I'm knee deep in those, too!

Here's what I came up with!

Kid's Birthday Cards

Below are a few cards I made for the kid's birthdays. They are coming up from Boston for the American Thanksgiving next weekend and we're going to visit with them. Since we missed their actual birthdays in Oct and Nov, we'll make up for it now! :)

A Smashing Success!!!

Well, I have to say, I think this weekends crop at Scrap Shotz was a huge success!!! Over 12 pages and counting in the gallery of gorgeous layouts and Make n' Take projects. It's amazing to see everyone pull together and scrap there little hearts out over the weekend. Hubby's deserve a pat on the back for pitching in to help the mommy's out with the kids to make it possible for all this creativity to shine!!! Way to go, Daddy's!!!!!

Scenic Route PP was the flavour of the month at Scrap Shotz for November!!! Can you say yummy? I sure can!

This one was created with the Nov DT kit pp but was actually created for the Online Crop that's going on this weekend. Serendipity Square were made out of scraps of pp left over...they are a great way to use up those leftover pieces of fav pp!!! :)

Nov 1st at Scrap Shotz!!

Happy November everyone! It's a beautiful sunny day in the Capital...a perfect Fall day!

The Creative Team layouts have been revealed at Scrap Shotz (link at right)...go check it out, it's worth it!!! Lots of awesome challenges by a very creative CT if I do say so myself...;)

Speaking of awesome challenges...this weekend, Nov 3-5, Scrap Shotz is hosting it's very first full weekend online crop...if you've got time, drop in and participate. Happy Halloween - Bring on November

Hi everyone!

Look at me go, 2 posts in two days! Yay me! lol

Just finished up my last Circle Journal and got it ready to mail, whew, such fun but a little bit of pressure, too! Glad it's done...although, I just signed up for another one in January!! Yikes!!

Tomorrow is Halloween and the next day it's Nov 1...reveal day for the Creative Team at Scrap Shotz...it's going to be a good one!!! Check it out if you can!! The kits for November are amazing...Scenic Route is one of my favorite paper lines. I'll post my layouts here for your viewing pleasure on Nov 1st.

Two Blogs

Yup, I can't keep up with one, but I'm going to create another one for photography! I've been playing around, practicing different shots and have one "real" photo shoot under my belt. I want a place to display these photos...so I'm going to try it out! :)
